Handmade Bike Assembly Line

Equipment

1. Individual workstations for total manual operation.
2. The (movable) bicycle frame (movable) is fixed with a pressure-adjustable hanging cramp.
3. CARBON front fork cutter.
4. The ONE PIS operation mode is used for parts.

Advantages

1. Self-inspection, specific persons for specific workstations, totally manual assembly, absolutely high quality.
2. SOP and operational manuals are placed at each station and QC resides there to eliminate poor assembly.
3. Materials and parts are distributed with a cart.
4. Bicycles are produced exactly as required by customers.
5. The number of workers is adjusted based on the difficulty of products.

Conveyer Production Line

Equipment

1. The start-stop mode is used for production line operation.
2. The ONE PCS operation mode is used for parts.

Advantages

1. Without moving with the production line, the workers can focus more on assembly and become less stressful at keeping pace during operation.
2. The fixed-position-stop operation set-up makes the assembly line operate better with greater stability and higher quality.
3. Self-inspection is conducted and bulletin boards of each station are marked; work is performed according to SOP to meet production standard.
4. ONE PIS box type material issuing operation in each station: empties boxes will be recycled after the materials and parts are assembled, which is conducted in endless cycles.
5. The working hours are adjusted based on the difficulty of products.

Handmade Painting Line

In 2012, Ming Cycle added a brand new dust-free manual painting line. The resident art designer could make immediate changes immediately as required by customers at any time. The whole series of Dupont painting and the dust-proof positive pressure system for painting equipment were used. Ming Cycle hopes to meet “high-mix low-volume” demand of customers in the current market with this painting line and then build a professional quality painting line.
